*** THE BEACH FAMILY JOURNAL ***

Zipped (Compressed) Files To Download

The following is a list of Beach-related files which may be downloaded by clicking the highlighted file name.   All files have been "zipped", i.e., compressed, to save space and download time.  You will therefore need an unzipping utility such as WinZip to expand each file before viewing or importing the data.  Please email us if you have any problem or question in this regard.

NOTE:  WinZip is available on-line from the WinZip home page at
http://www.winzip.com/winzip.htm

We also recommend creating a separate sub-directory within your genealogy program in which to unzip and import these Gedcom files.   This will avoid mixing our data with your own.  See the documentation of your particular genealogy program for instructions on creating and using sub-directories for different data files.

Be sure to return to this page periodically as we are constantly adding to and/or correcting these files and post updated versions from time to time.

NOTE:  We believe in the free exchange of genealogical information between individuals for personal use and so do not charge for the download of these files.   At the same time, however, there are costs associated with the research, compilation and posting of this data.  Should you find these files helpful in your research, a nominal donation would be appreciated!  Contributions may be made payable and sent to:

The Beach Family Journal
744 West Livingston Road
Highland, Michigan 48357

Note further that while genealogical data per se cannot be copyrighted, the compilation of such data in a particular form (such as these files) is entitled to protection.  These files are copyrighted and may be used solely for personal research and reference.  Any alteration, modification or other use of such files is strictly prohibited without the compiler's express consent.  In particular, please refrain from uploading these files to other websites, whether commercial or otherwise!  As noted above, we are constantly making additions and corrections and the existence of earlier versions of these files on other websites is a source of endless confusion!
